Hey Hey! I’m coach Rachel and I am so stoked to be coaching with this awesome team! I am super passionate about helping peri/post menopause women navigate the twists and turns of this phase of life with grace, education, and a little bit of humor!

A little about me!

I grew up in the sunshine state and now live in the blue skies of the Carolinas! I moved to the Carolinas in 2020 to be closer to my family (in case the world ended) and I’m so glad I did! Most weekends you’ll find me hanging out with the family…we love to play volleyball, ping pong, card games, board games and you’ll always find us eating a good home cooked meal! I have a 14 year old chihuahua/poodle mix who doesn’t pay rent but is the boss of my house. I love to travel and plan on having a van as a second home before too long so I can do more of it!

A little about why I do what I do!

My fitness journey started when my dad introduced me to the gym when I was 16! Little did I know the seeds that were being planted that would lead to my career in this industry!

I grew up in the 80’s and started my first diet when I was 15 years old. I used diet pills and laxatives to keep my body as small as possible. I thought the only way to be skinny was to restrict food, do cardio and then repeat! This led to a miserable relationship with food and a very unhealthy approach to fitness. This carried on for the better part of my 20’s and 30’s.

When I turned 38 my cycles started getting all wonky and by 40 I thought something was really really wrong with me. I was bloated, tired, moody, and couldn’t get control of my body. My conventional ways of losing weight literally felt like they stopped working overnight! Little did I know that I was entering into a new phase of life that no one warned me about!

Having experienced perimenopause and now being post menopause has led me to learn as much as I can about this phase of life. I want to help as many women as I can understand how to fuel their body properly and workout in a way that their body works for them, not against them!

If you are 40+ and struggling with trying to figure out why you’re body has seemingly changed overnight…I want you to know that all hope is not lost and you don’t have to accept that this is just the way it is!

I am so excited to help you learn how to make progress and feel your best through peri/post menopause!!
