Their social media feeds get flooded with short, one-time fitness programs that promise things like, "amazing results in 4 weeks or less".
But here’s what those programs are NOT telling you.
The general rule of thumb is 1 lb lost weekly is healthy and sustainable.
This means that:
- 5 lbs = 1-2 months
- 10 lbs = 2-3 months
- 20 lbs = 5-6 months
- 30 lbs = 7-8 months
- 40 lbs = 10 months
The point is, reaching your goals takes time!
