During my 5 years as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, my passion for health, and empowering and supporting other humans blossomed.

In 2016, I created @dalalovesdumbbells on Instagram to share how I found and healed myself through fitness, with the hope of inspiring and elevating others as well. I poured out as much free knowledge and education as I could and have since taken a radical stance for empowering everyone with the tools they need to take control of their health.

As I started gaining more and more one:one clients, they self-proclaimed our community as 'DLDNation' (a term coined from my abbreviated IG nickname, DLD) and that's when I knew we were building something special.

Over our years of growth in DLDNation, we've learned SO much.

We've learned what it takes to be the best coaches possible, what our clients need to achieve their goals, and what we can do to massively change lives.

Getting to this point wasn't easy though. I wished more than anything that there were mentorship programs from some of the best coaches in the game to facilitate my learning.

Q: I already have my CPT, how is this different?


A: CPT certifications will prepare one to provide in-person fitness services in a gym setting. Unfortunately, they are not sufficient to prepare one for working in the online coaching industry, which is far different and vast in expectation of services rendered to clients.

This course will fully certify you in nutrition (including macro calculations), fitness (including advanced workout programming), and provide you with an online coaching mentorship so that you understand the many nuances of online work and client delivery, and can achieve better results with your clients.


Q: How are the modules delivered?


A: There are written and video modules included for your learning, as well and some audio files of voice memo example coaching and check-in responses.


Q: Are there any quizzes or case studies for practice?


A: Yes, at the end of all 24 chapters you will get to participate in “Knowledge Checks” to solidify your learning and understanding of the course material. These are graded, but do not count towards your final exam or passing the cert.

Additionally, you will get many case studies and practice coaching to advance your competency and preparedness: writing workout programming, setting new client protocols, calculating TDEEs and macros, check-in responses, and more.


Q: How is the final exam formatted? Can I re-take it if I don’t pass the first time?


A: The final exam is all multiple choice. You will have the ability to retake your certification exam as many times as you need, but data shows that over 95% of our students pass on their first try.


Q: What am I certified in once I pass?


A: Upon completion you will be a Certified Online Fitness and Nutrition Coaching Specialist! You may use “DLD-OFNC” or “OFNC” behind your name.


Q: What do I receive when I pass the course?


A: You will receive your official certificate of completion within 7 days of passing your exam. This certificate will be utilized to submit for CEU/CEC credit.


Q: What if I need more time than 3 months to complete this course and take the test? 


A: We have an alumni program that allows you to maintain full access to the course and take the exam on your own time!

Q: How long should I dedicate to this course weekly? 


A: Our data shows that students spend an average of 4 hours per week on their course modules, and that students who are extremely motivated and focused can complete the course in as little as 5-6 weeks. Most clients spend 70 hours total to complete this cert.
